About Uludağ University
Established: July 11, 1971
Uludağ University is one of the Turkish public universities established in the city of Bursa. Initially named Bursa University, it was renamed Uludağ University following the law passed in 1982. The university aims to educate its students with respect for national principles and cultural and historical values.
The university includes 13 faculties, 4 institutes, 4 higher education colleges, 15 vocational higher education institutes, 5 departments associated with the university presidency, and 20 research and application centers. As of the 2010/2011 academic year, the university had 44,071 students, and as of 2003, there were 2,071 faculty and administrative staff members.
The president of the university is Professor Dr. Yusuf Ulcay, with vice-presidents Professor Dr. Tufan Yoğa Doğru, Professor Dr. Erray Alber, and Professor Dr. Mehmet Yoğa.
