Founded in 1992
Nigde University is located in Niğde, near the capital, Ankara, in central Turkey. The city is known for its stunning natural beauty and climate—hot and dry in the summer and mild and rainy in the winter. Establishing this prominent academic institution in Nigde has elevated the city’s cultural and scientific status, attracting many students and researchers.
