About Necmettin Erbakan University
Necmettin Erbakan University was established in 2010 in Konya, southwest Turkey. It was named after the famous engineer and politician Necmettin Erbakan, who served as Turkey’s Prime Minister between 1996 and 1997.
Today, the university comprises 14 faculties, 4 institutes, and 13 research centers. It hosts approximately 16,000 students and nearly 1450 professors, lecturers, and teaching assistants.
The university aims to be an international reference center that contributes to the acquisition and dissemination of original knowledge, paves the way for students to lead with its exemplary and civilized approach to education and research, and creates an environment conducive to the active participation of diverse opinions.
