About Mersin University
Founded in 1992
Founded in 1992, Mersin University is located in Mersin, southern Turkey. The university comprises 12 faculties, 5 institutes, 7 schools, and 19 research centers, hosting around 27,000 students and approximately 1,500 faculty members.
Mersin University focuses on supporting high-level studies and research to advance knowledge and technology and contribute to national development and social welfare.
With its advanced laboratories, over 3,000 computers, and a robust infrastructure, Mersin University is considered one of the progressive Turkish universities. It also features a large library covering an area of 3000 square meters.
