About Mansoura University
Mansoura University is among Egypt’s most prestigious Egyptian universities and the sixth-established university. The university began its academic journey in 1962 with the Faculty of Medicine, initially affiliated with Cairo University. It became a separate university in 1972 under the name “East Delta University,” which was later changed to Mansoura University in 1973.
Mansoura University aims to achieve excellence and leadership locally and internationally by fostering an aware community through sustainable development and building effective partnerships at both local and international levels according to international standards. The university also strives to provide distinguished educational and research programs that serve society and offer a technological environment that supports lifelong learning, scientific research, and innovation.

- Intilaq Company for Communication and Information Technology: Formerly the Center for Communication and Information Technology, this unit was established to transform Mansoura University into a smart university by developing telecommunication networks, data centers, digital systems, websites, educational content creation, and effective information sharing.
- Innovation Support, Technology Transfer, and Marketing Office, comprising three offices:
- Projects, Grants, and International Cooperation Office: Facilitates partnerships with international institutions and universities for academic and scientific research exchange.
- Innovation and Patent Support Office: Encourages and supports innovation at the university through direct collaboration with the Egyptian Patent Office at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
