Overview of the National University of Malaysia

Since its establishment on May 18, 1970, the National University of Malaysia has worked on qualifying intellectuals and scientists in various disciplines. The university started its educational activities in only three colleges, then developed to include 13 colleges, 13 research institutes, and two commercial entities. Located in the south of the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, it is considered one of the best universities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, attracting more than 12,000 international students from around the world.

The National University of Malaysia is located on Jalan Bangi in Kajang city, about 30 kilometers from the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, approximately 25 minutes away by car. It can be reached via KTM (Kuala Lumpur train) lines in less than 50 minutes from Kuala Lumpur center. The university also provides transportation service for students.
