Aerospace Engineering

Aviation Engineering is one of the most important specializations at the Faculty of Engineering due to its uniqueness, as aviation engineering requires special skills from students, in addition to their passion and desire to learn everything related to aircraft engines, systems, and manufacturing methods. Additionally, it is a field that demands precision, great care, and extensive knowledge of various types of aircraft, whether civilian (general-private) or military.

The Aviation Department at the Faculty of Engineering aims to prepare aviation engineers capable of accomplishing all tasks related to aircraft operation and functioning. Graduates from the aviation department are trained in aircraft design, operation, control, sensor device mechanism, and control within aircraft, as well as the design of electromechanical systems, propulsion systems, and engines inside the aircraft.

Importance of studying aviation engineering in Turkey

Turkish universities offer distinctive academic programs for aviation engineering, covering systems and engine maintenance. They prepare students for practical life by providing various learning opportunities inside and outside the university to obtain distinguished job offers in local and international aviation companies and gain extensive practical experience.
