Budapest Business School (BBU) is the largest Hungarian university specializing in economics and business management, and it is the first university in Hungary to offer business management courses. Its history dates back to 1857 when it was an academy for economics and trade called Pest, and it became a university of economic sciences in 2000 under the name Budapest Business School.
The university still plays a very important role in higher education for local businesses. Budapest Business School (BBU) is the largest business community in Hungary and the third largest university in Hungary in terms of student numbers, with around 20,000 students. The university covers all fields of economics and offers inspiring educational programs that prepare students for the world of business and trade, making them future entrepreneurs. Student Activities
Students at BBU can choose from a variety of sports activities as the university focuses on providing a large number of activities that emphasize physical and mental health.
