Atilim University in Ankara was established to provide high-level academic education and research to contribute to science and technology. Since its founding on July 15, 1997, Atilim University has taken practical steps towards achieving these goals.

Atilim University is recognized as one of the top universities in Turkey, aspiring to be among the top 500 universities worldwide in research and education. Scientific Research

Atilim University adopts an advanced research culture for graduate researchers and innovators. It encourages scientific production efforts from students and faculty members, developing and disseminating a research culture at all levels. The university provides administrative support for researchers in practically applying their research, obtaining external loans and grants, and developing, planning, and implementing business and industrial projects.

The main goal of scientific research at Atilim University is to contribute to science at the local and global levels. University research projects are shared through exhibitions, conferences, and presentations at the end of each academic year. Additionally, technological developments are transformed into value-added products for society through the development of various industrial projects.

Atilim University boasts 150 scientific research laboratories open to both students and academics for research and training purposes. Additionally, the university houses 14 research centers, including the Center for Shaping Metals. This center stands out as one of the most advanced research centers in Europe and is the first of its kind in Turkey.

Important Note

  • Regarding the Civil Aviation Training: students must take the department’s test in one of the Turkish hospitals in Istanbul; the hospital determined by Atilim University. Its name stated, as “Pilots Test’s First Class” and the student must also pay 50 thousand Euro as training fees.
  • The duration of the aviation program is 4 years including theoretical & practical training.
