About Akdeniz University
Akdeniz University is a Turkish public university established to meet the higher education needs of the Western Mediterranean coast in the province of Antalya in 1982. The university currently provides high-level undergraduate educational services and has achieved significant success locally and globally in the fields of science, social sciences, and arts.
The university comprises more than 18 faculties, 7 institutes, 4 higher education colleges, and a music institute center, along with 11 vocational training institutes.
The president of the university is Professor Dr. Mustafa Ünal, and the language of instruction at the university is Turkish.
