About Ahi Evran University
Ahi Evran University, located in the city of Kırşehir, Turkey, was initially established as the Kırşehir Educational Academy for Boys. The academy focused on training educators until 1974, when it was transformed into an educational institute. It included several educational and administrative faculties for diploma degrees, such as the Faculty of Basic Education, Faculty of Management, and Faculty of Public Institution Management.
In 1982, the institute was affiliated with Gazi University, marking the initial steps towards establishing Ahi Evran University. Subsequently, the duration of the study was extended from two to four years, and it continued to operate under the umbrella of Gazi University until March 17, 2006. On this date, the Turkish government issued a governmental decree to establish Ahi Evran University as an independent entity.
Today, Ahi Evran University encompasses 7 diverse faculties and 3 graduate institutes.
