A scholarship to study a Master’s degree in History in the United Kingdom

The University of Edinburgh offers a scholarship for a Master’s degree in the School of History and Classics for outstanding students. The scholarship covers £27,700 for accepted students to pursue a Master’s degree in History. The duration of the study in the scholarship program is one academic year, and the language of instruction is English. Targeted countries for the scholarship include: Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Turkey, Iran, Cyprus, Comoros, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and other countries outside of North Africa and the Middle East.

Application requirements:

• The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence in the chosen program and academic merit.

• The applicant’s GPA must be at least 70% in related disciplines.

• Must have an English proficiency certificate (IELTS) with a minimum score of 7.

• International students must apply for a visa.

  2. Second, click on “apply” on the right side of the screen.
  3. Third, fill out the application and submit the required documents, which include: • English proficiency certificate • Translated transcript • Two letters of recommendation • Academic qualifications
  4. Fourth, upon registering for the program, you will receive your university username and password, then you can apply for the scholarship.
  5. Fifth, log in to MyEd with your university username and password and proceed to apply for the scholarship electronically in EUCLID.
