Sabanci University

In 1994, the Sabanci Group decided to establish a leading University to meet the world’s needs by raising qualified people in different sectors. In the summer of 1995, Sabanci Group started a social responsibility project focusing on education in a search conference attended by 50 academicians from 22 different countries and several students and representatives from the private sector. Starting from this conference, all the top educational institutions in Turkey were observed to detect all their success factors.

In 1999, Sabanci University started to accept students’ applications, and over time, Sabanci University became a model of Universities that follow international standards. As it follows innovative approaches and encourages people to advance their self-confidence and deepen their knowledge in different majors like humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and social and management sciences.

Scholarship opportunities are available at Sabanci University for international students. Scholarships are merit-based and given independently by the Scholarship Committee of Sabanci University. Successful students have a chance to win a scholarship.
