About Multimedia University (MMU)
Multimedia University (MMU) is one of the top private universities in Malaysia. This is attributed to several factors, most notably its educational quality and adherence to international standards in teaching, attracting thousands of students from around the world. The university adopts the Multimedia Learning System (MMLS) to enhance and facilitate the teaching and learning process for all students.
MMU has two campuses, one in Malaysia’s technological hub, Cyberjaya, and the other in the historic city of Melaka, where over 20,000 students are enrolled. Most international students, especially postgraduate students, study at the Cyberjaya campus. Despite the lower cost of living in Melaka compared to Cyberjaya, the proximity of Cyberjaya to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, is a significant factor in choosing this campus for study.

Multimedia University Campuses
Melaka: Located in a prime location near quiet residential areas, thriving industrial sites, and the famous tourist area of Ayer Keroh, which is known for its scenic landscapes. The Melaka campus houses the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Law, and Graduate Institute. It also includes facilities such as a biology lab and a moot court for legal practice.
Cyberjaya: It features modern classrooms, practical application facilities such as the Innovation Lab and Precision Manufacturing Lab for engineering students, a comprehensive library, and student activity facilities such as a swimming pool, football fields, gym, mosque, and equipped medical clinic.

Research Centers

- Research Management Centre (RMC): Plays a key role in facilitating and supporting research activities, managing and monitoring research funding usage, and organizing research workshops and seminars.
- Technology Transfer Office (TTO): This office aims to foster an innovation culture and facilitate research marketing among staff and students. It is also dedicated to instilling an effective and ethical research culture and facilitating access to new knowledge and expertise via research and final-year projects.
- Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC): This center prepares awareness programs to help people appreciate the importance of entrepreneurship and its development.
